Arnold & Porter has a significant presence in Latin America, handling a growing number of headline M&A deals and venture capital investments. The firm has a long history in the region and New York-based Carlos Lobo is building its standing in corporate transactions and M&A, with recent matters including advising entrepreneur Jose Seripieri Filho on his $2bn acquisition of the Brazil-based healthcare operator Amil. The Latin America team has also handled major deals right across the region.  
Following its 2024 hire of Maria-Leticia Ossa Daza from Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP, Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP has steadily developed its commitment to Latin America, where it is increasingly active in private equity, growth capital and M&A.
