Highlight-Mandate


  • Successfully represented the Arab Republic of Egypt in an investment arbitration against a US$8 billion claim launched by 13 Kuwaiti claimants in relation to the implementation of an agricultural project and the establishment of a new residential city in the Egyptian desert.
  • Successfully defended the Czech Republic in the original ICSID arbitration and the subsequent annulment proceeding initiated by the investors before an ad hoc committee in relation to a dispute that arose from changes in the regulatory framework for real estate planning.
  • Representing a Greek construction group in the annulment proceedings of an ICSID award rendered in an arbitration against the Lebanese Republic, in relation to a dispute over the construction of a power plant at Deir Aamar.
