It included a request for suspension against a Commission Regulation banning HADs, a substance found naturally in most plants, for infringing the precautionary principle.
  • Instructed by Monk Fruit Corp. to launch parallel judicial reviews of decisions taken by the UK’s Food Safety Authority and the Food Safety Authority of Ireland. Food Standards Scotland is named as an interested party to the proceedings in the UK, as it took the decision jointly with the UK’s Food Safety Authority.
