Jonathan Manning represented a local authority in the Court of Appeal in Birmingham CC v Bravington concerning if a notice of seeking possession could be served by handing it to another resident of the property. Another recent instruction reaching the Court of Appeal includes Iain Colville settling technical questions surrounding the suitability of local authority accommodation in Hodge v Folkestone and Hythe DC.
